Chancellor

The chancellor of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, with offices in Anthony Hall, is responsible for the internal administration of Southern Illinois University Carbondale and reports to the president. Those administrative officers reporting to the chancellor are the provost and vice chancellor, vice chancellor for administration and finance, vice chancellor for development and alumni relations, vice chancellor for research, dean and provost of the School of Medicine, associate chancellor for institutional diversity, director of the Budget Office, director of Intercollegiate Athletics, executive director of University Communications and Marketing, director of Institutional Research & Studies, director of University Events and Protocol and the deputy chancellor for innovation and economic development.
